Helpfulness
A more glidey version of the Buzzz that feels better in my hand. It has fully replaced my Buzzz.
Jan 27, 2026
I always liked my Buzzz for straight, mid-range approach, but sometimes had some issues with consistency. Since switching to the Claymore, my throws have been much more reliable. I believe this has to do with the Claymore's rim and overall shape. It just feels more comfortable and nimbler in my hand. The other surprise is how glidey it is. The Buzzz may have sailed... but the Claymore floats. I definitely feel like I'm getting a bit more controllable distance from the Claymore. That's why it has officially replaced the Buzzz in my bag and I couldn't be happier with the performance. I would absolutely recommend it.
Straightest midrange
Jul 11, 2023
I've been looking for a really straight mid for a while now with no luck. I saw the comparison video that Six Sided Discs did on the straightest mid and purchased the Opto Claymore based on the fact they choose it the "clear winner". It is very straight start to finish. If you keep it low and fast there is basically no fade at all. If you give it some air it will stall fade a bit. Really like this disc a lot. It will get thrown on probably 90% of my midrange shoots.
