Great used disc with quick shipping!
One of my fave drivers for windy days or when I can air out a flex shot
Swirly star Destroyer feels great. This runs seems to be very throwable. Less overstable than halo runs but holds a great s curve line. Reliable fade even when turned over.
Pretty much the OG of distance drivers at this point. I've tried very hard to find a better overstable distance driver because I'm not the biggest fan of champion or star plastic, but even if I don't like the feels of the plastic, the mold is excellent and it flies the way I want on the course. Additional bonus that it comes in very low weights for a noodle arm thrower. At 157g, I can (RHBH) flat release a throw that will drift right over before fading, which is my longest throw. Blizzard rim tends to eat up dirt which can't be washed out, in case you are headed in that direction.
I got this disc as a birthday gift and love it! It is one of the most overstable discs that I have ever thrown, and I mostly use it for utility shots, but have started using it for headwind drives recently, as I lost my Star Sockibot Destroyer, which was almost as dumpy. I also have a Gannon Buhr 2021 Rookie of the Year D1. I am having a hard time deciding which is the most overstable. Although I don’t use either of these discs very much, I try to use them cause I love Calvin and Gannon!
I got this disk as a present, and I love it. It was pretty overstable at first but after getting beat up it is starting to be less so.
The 2022 Tour series is the complete opposite of the years before. It’s more flippy instead of the massive over stability it’s had before. 10/10.
Radically overstable, that is! This disc must be made for players with 550+ feet of power because it is pure poptop beef! My friends and I all ordered these out of love for Calvin. Most of us use it as a wall hanger, but one buddy plays it primarily as a utility hook driver. He throws his Heimburg Destroyer on shots where I throw my Machete. He also throws anhyzer flex shots with it, and this is the only way I know that the disc is glidey…. on a normal throw it hyzers into the ground too early to exhibit any glide. Gotta support Vinny, even if we can’t throw like him!
Sockibot Destroyers are in a stability sweet spot that lets me backhand crush them as an intermediate player. Very resistant to off axis torque, so they also fly nicely for developing forehands! These Sockibots start out pretty stable. After a few months of use, mine show some turn with a reliable forward-pushing fade. I’m sure Ricky or Calvin can turn these over, but for a mortal armspeed that throws around 400 feet, these Destroyers are money!
