Discmania Drop
Main Features
Discmania says this about the Drop: "The Drop is a reliably overstable approach disc, well suited for high amounts of power, snap, and torque resistance. Its low profile and low glide ensure that each shot fades consistently to the ground.
Designed to be even more overstable than the Tactic and with less glide, the Drop is a disc that can be trusted in any condition to have that controlled distance and consistent overstability. Throw hard for approaches that require a shot with a lot of finish, or throw softer for shorter approaches and have confidence that you will end up close to your target. Designed in collaboration with Niklas Anttila."
Niklas Anttila wanted a disc to bridge the gap between the Discmania Tactic and the MD5—a reliably overstable mold that still offered a decent amount of distance. He partnered with Discmania to design his first Creator Series discs: the Drop.
Compared to the Discmania Tactic and Discraft Zone, the Drop is a little shallower, offering a cleaner release for forehand shots. Also, the rim is a little wider, increasing its distance potential.

Phases of Flight
Low-Speed Fade
---
As the disc slows and spin decreases, the disc pulls out of turn and begins to hook at the end of flight
High-Speed Turn
The aerodynamic profile turns the disc with the direction of spin during the high-speed phase of flight
